The boy decided to take leave on Monday since Tuesday is a public holiday. I contemplated as most of my leaves this year are spent overseas and taking leaves randomly is not a habit of mine. Eventually, I gave in and applied also to keep each other companied.
We were still undecided of where to go the morning before. On Monday itself, we woke up around 9 ish instead of leaving the house at 7. As usual, the piggy two. Went for breakfast near Aman Suria area and did some chores. Arrived at Sekinchan around 2 ish and drove around aimlessly.
Stumbled upon this fruit farm with lots of Air Jambu and chilled there for a while since the weather is scorching hot! Ordered a drink each - loh hon goh and sha li zhi. Both are equally refreshing. So tempted to bring some back to KL.
After that, I drove around aimlessly since he was on the phone. The green scenery is so eye soothing when you leave in the city everyday and face the laptop everyday. Best way to de-stress not knowing what to do when every second we live is just thinking of the next item to be done.
We decided to stop by the rice factory right in front the paddy field with the afternoon weather. Bought an ice cream to taste since all the tourists there were eating. Nothing amazing. When I first walked in, I was stunned by people carrying bags and bags of rice. Guess what... I ended up being one of them buying lots of rice.
You can also have a tour on how rice grain is produced upstairs. Tickets can be bought at RM4 per person at the counter. Most of the people didn't go for this. As for me, there is no harm doing so as you will get a small packet of rice at the end of the tour. You may redeem this at the ticket counter. This packet of rice is equivalent to the value of your ticket. Technically, you just go for a free tour increasing your knowledge by a tiny bit!
Next up is paddy field photos with my face in it everywhere. Such a good scene to camwhore and take lots of portraits!
