We went en route to Marseille after severe warning by the girls that we met along the way. Apparently it's not the safest place in France if you catch what I am trying to say. Being extra careful. We arrived at the place that we're going to stay for a night. To save time, we went out right after leaving our bags and took the train to Cassis, highly recommended by friends who had been.
The ice cream was pretty good. Most ice cream parlours at Southern France have around 100 different types of flavours! So exciting! It's a small town whereby people sitting on a hot afternoon enjoying alcohol, ice tea and coffee besides ice cream next to the port. The beach is right next to the port. They have a very laid back life there.
In Cassis, you get to visit vineyards in which we didn't do as both of us have been to vineyards before and we didn't want to miss the last bus back to the train station.
